Fresher’s Day 2026: A Celebration of Talent and Togetherness

A Warm Welcome to Freshers

MBU celebrated its much-awaited Fresher’s day on 30th January 2026 with joy and enthusiasm. Organized by senior students, the event welcomed the new batch into the university’s vibrant academic community. Beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Sree Vidyanikethan International School playground, the venue was beautifully decorated to create a festive mood. The program aimed to make the newcomers feel at home, connect with their peers, and experience the spirit of togetherness that defines MBU.

Showcasing Talent and Togetherness

The program opened with an inspiring address by Prof. Nagaraj Ramrao, the Vice-Chancellor of MBU, who emphasized the importance of academic excellence, creativity, and collaboration. He also introduced the Deans, Heads of Departments, and leaders of various wings of the university to the freshers. Following this, the Pro-Chancellor addressed the students with words of encouragement, reminding them of their responsibility to pursue quality education with discipline. His message resonated deeply, reinforcing the university’s commitment to the holistic development of its students. Ice-breaking activities, fun games, and lively cultural programs helped freshers bond with seniors and faculty members. The DJ night by professionals from Coimbatore brought everyone together in front of the stage and performed group dances, making the evening vibrant and memorable.

Lasting Memories and Gratitude

The participants carried home valuable lessons in discipline, collaboration, and self-expression. Encouragement from faculty and seniors motivated them to pursue their academic journey with confidence and enthusiasm. Above all, the event gave them a strong sense of belonging to the MBU family. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr. T. Deva Raju, who expressed gratitude to the freshers, faculty, and senior students for making the celebration a grand success. The evening ended with smiles, joy, and a spirit of unity.
