The Science Club, the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences of MBU, organized an Essay Writing Competition on the theme “Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare” on 8th September 2025 at the Mini Auditorium and it was a lively and thoughtful gathering where young minds explored the future of healthcare through the lens of technology. The main aim of the competition was to help students understand how Artificial Intelligence is changing the way healthcare works today. It encouraged them to think about how machines and smart tools are helping doctors, hospitals, and patients in new and better ways
The event was smoothly coordinated by Ms. S. Vasiha Anjum, Assistant Professor, who guided the participants with great care and encouragement. A total of 32 students took part in the competition. They came from different branches of the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences and brought with them a variety of ideas and perspectives. Their essays reflected deep thought, creativity, and a genuine interest in the topic.
The activity was conducted in a friendly and focused environment. Students were given time to write their essays on the spot, allowing them to express their thoughts freely. The topic was both timely and important, as AI is becoming a key part of healthcare systems around the world. The competition gave students a chance to explore this connection in their own words.
Through this event, students gained a better understanding of how AI is used in hospitals, diagnosis, patient care, and medical research. It also helped them improve their writing skills and think critically about the role of technology in society. Many students shared that the experience made them more curious and confident.
The organizers expressed heartfelt thanks to all the participants for their enthusiasm and thoughtful contributions. The event ended on a positive note, with certificates awarded to the winners and warm appreciation for everyone who participated.
