Theme of the Event

The Plant Health Club of MBU organized “Agro-diagnosis Quiz” on 9 February 2026 at Agricultural Block. The event aimed to improve student knowledge in plant pathology and strengthen their diagnostic and analytical skills. It provided a platform for students to apply theoretical concepts to practical situations and encouraged teamwork and healthy competition. The quiz also promoted awareness about plant disease management and sustainable agricultural practices.

Insightful Learning Challenge

Dr. K. Sailaja and Dr. P. Maheswara Reddy, Assistant Professors in Agriculture Sciences, coordinated the event. A total of 47 students participated with great enthusiasm and were divided into three teams named virus, fungi, and bacteria. The quiz included multiple rounds covering plant pathology concepts, disease identification, and management practices. A visual identification round added practical value by allowing students to diagnose diseases using plant images. The event was well-structured and created an engaging learning environment. Students gained valuable insights into plant pathology and improved their diagnostic and problem-solving skills. They appreciated the competitive format and the visual identification round, which made learning more interactive and practical. The activity boosted their confidence and encouraged teamwork and scientific reasoning. Feedback from participants was highly positive, highlighting the usefulness of the quiz in strengthening academic knowledge and practical application. The Agro-diagnosis Quiz concluded successfully with active participation and positive outcomes. The organizers expressed gratitude to all participants for their enthusiasm and commitment. The event reflected the importance of experiential learning and its role in preparing students for real-world agricultural challenges.
