The Electrical Technical Association, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of MBU, organized a technical event titled “Sustainable Energy Talks” on 9th September 2025 in Room No. 106 and it was exclusively planned for the III-year B.Tech EEE students. It brought together students and faculty for an engaging session focused on communication and technical awareness.
The main aim of the event was to help students improve their public speaking, critical thinking, and professional communication skills. It encouraged them to express their ideas clearly and confidently while discussing technical and societal topics. The event also aimed to build awareness about sustainable energy and its importance in today’s world.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Rajasekar Thota, Associate Professor, with guidance from Dr. M. S. Sujatha, Head of the Department. A total of 36 students participated with great enthusiasm. Mr. J. Ganesh, the student association coordinator, along with III-year student volunteers, helped in organizing the event smoothly. The students gave short speeches on various topics and performed with confidence and clarity.
The activity was conducted in a friendly and supportive environment. Each student was given a chance to speak, and faculty members provided helpful feedback on how to improve their content structure, voice modulation, and stage presence. The session was interactive, allowing students to learn from each other and grow together. It was a great opportunity for them to step out of their comfort zones and develop essential soft skills.
Students shared that the event helped them become more confident speakers and better thinkers. They felt more prepared to present technical ideas and communicate effectively. Many of them expressed interest in attending similar workshops in the future to continue improving their skills. The event also helped them understand the value of teamwork and leadership.
At the end of the session, the organizers thanked all the participants for their active involvement and positive energy. Their contributions made the event a meaningful and successful experience. The ETA team appreciated the support from faculty and students, and looks forward to organizing more such events to help students grow personally and professionally.
