Empowering Students Through Practical Coding Challenges

Event Perspective

Tech Know Club of MBU organized an event “TechsetGO” on 23 February 2026 at Department of Computer Applications. The event started with the aim of empowering students with practical technical skills. It encouraged innovation, teamwork, and quick thinking through engaging activities. The event created a platform for students to apply technology to real-world scenarios.

Learning Through Interaction

P. Yasminbhanu, Assistant Professor coordinated The event. A total of 70 students participated with great enthusiasm. The Participants competed in multiple rounds of technical challenges. The rounds included coding tasks, debugging exercises, and technical quizzes. They also solved puzzles and innovation sprints under time constraints. The event tested programming skills, logical reasoning, and adaptability. It provided a competitive yet healthy environment for learning. It highlighted the importance of applying classroom knowledge to practical problems.

Participant Reflections

The Participants improved their programming proficiency through hands-on coding challenges. They applied concepts like recursion, arrays, and sorting in real-time problems. They also strengthened their logical reasoning and analytical thinking skills.  Moreover, they enhanced debugging and error-handling abilities under time pressure. Feedback showed appreciation for the quality of coding questions. Students valued the time-bound format that simulated interview scenarios. Many suggested adding post-event discussions to explain optimal solutions. They expressed interest in conducting similar events more frequently. The organizers expressed gratitude to all the participants for their active involvement. The event successfully enhanced technical confidence among students. It motivated them to explore programming challenges with creativity and teamwork.
