The Cultural Club of MBU enthusiastically hosted a cultural event titled “Echoes of Welcome” on 6 August 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Indoor Stadium. Organized as part of the B.Tech Induction Program for the academic year 2025-26, the event served as a gesture of hospitality, welcoming the new batch of students into the MBU family. It was aimed at entertaining and inspiring the new students to explore their talents, engage in campus life, and begin their academic journey with enthusiasm.
Under the successful coordination of Dr. P. Thejasree, Associate Professor and Dy. Dean of Student Affairs, the event brought together over 300 freshers, immersing them in an atmosphere of rhythm, melody, and movement. The event was well-organized and created a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere for the freshers, for whom seniors extended a heartfelt welcome through a colorful blend of music and dance performances, creating an atmosphere of joy, energy, and togetherness. It symbolizes the spirit of togetherness on campus.
Performances by seniors were engaging and helped the freshers feel comfortable and connected. The freshers appreciated the blend of music and dance, which added energy and enthusiasm to the induction program. The event encouraged active participation and showcased the cultural spirit of the campus. The feedback from freshers indicated that the program made them feel valued and motivated to explore extracurricular opportunities.
The event serves as a vibrant platform for freshers to build confidence by expressing themselves through stage performances.
