About the Event

The Rural development Club organized a field outreach activity on 25.02.2026. The event was conducted from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. across villages around Mohan Babu University. The program aimed to spread awareness about the role of digital literacy in improving daily life, agriculture, and education.

Importance of Digital Literacy

G.S. Bharaty, Assistant Professor in EEE Dept., coordinated the activity. A total of 67 student volunteers actively participated and interacted with villagers during the program. Farmers showed interest in market price applications, while women groups learned about digital banking and savings. The outreach activity emphasized how digital tools can save time and improve rural livelihoods.
