Crafting Futures: A Sprint Toward Professional  Portfolio

October 24

The Brain Masters club, the Department of Computer engineering of MBU, organized an event titled “Portfolio Sprint” on 24th October 2025.  The event brought together enthusiastic students for a day of focused learning and creative engagement. The session was designed to help students build strong digital portfolios that reflect their academic and professional journeys.

The main aim of the event was to guide students in documenting their achievements in a clear and organized way. It encouraged them to reflect on their learning experiences, showcase their skills, and align their work with future goals. The event focused on helping students understand how to present themselves professionally—whether for higher studies, internships, or job opportunities.

The event was coordinated by Dr Cuddapah Anitha, Associate Professor, Department of CSE. A total of 35 students participated in the sprint. They showed great interest and involvement throughout the session. With active engagement and thoughtful contributions, the participants made the most of the opportunity to shape their portfolios with clarity and creativity.

The activity was conducted through guided sessions where students learned how to organize their academic records, project work, certifications, and skills into a digital format. The sessions emphasized the importance of self-assessment, goal setting, and personal branding. Students were encouraged to think about how their portfolios could reflect not just what they’ve done, but who they are and where they’re headed. The event created a space for reflection, design thinking, and meaningful presentation.

Participants shared that the sprint helped them gain confidence in presenting their achievements. They learned how to use digital tools effectively and how to structure their portfolios in a way that speaks to their strengths. Many students expressed that the session helped them see their academic journey more clearly and gave them a sense of direction for future opportunities.

At the end of the event, the organizers thanked all the participants for their active involvement and positive spirit. The Department of CSE appreciated the students’ enthusiasm and hoped that the skills gained during the Portfolio Sprint would support them in their academic and professional growth.
