Crack the Code: PyMystery Ignites Python Passion at MBU

August 20

The TAIT Club, the Department of Data Science of MBU, organized an exciting Python coding event titled “PyMystery” on 20th August 2025, at R. No.514. The event brought together enthusiastic student coders for a day filled with logic, speed, and creativity. The event was designed to spark interest in Python programming and help students sharpen their problem-solving and algorithmic thinking. It encouraged participants to think critically, write efficient code, and tackle challenges with confidence.

The event was coordinated by Ms. C. Nithisha, Assistant Professor, Department of Data Science. A total of 64 students took part in the competition, showing great energy and commitment throughout the day. Their performance reflected strong preparation and a genuine passion for coding.

The competition was conducted in two rounds. The first round focused on logic building, where students wrote optimized code for given problems. The final round was a high-pressure coding sprint, testing their ability to solve real-time problems within a limited time. The format kept participants engaged and pushed them to think fast and code smart. The winners of the event are Mounika, Deepika, and Nanda Kishore, representing II B.Tech.

Students walked away with valuable takeaways—improved coding skills, better time management, and a deeper understanding of how to approach complex problems. The event also helped build confidence and fostered a sense of community among budding programmers.

At the end of the day, winners were awarded certificates of merit, and all participants received e-certificates for their active involvement. The organizers expressed heartfelt gratitude to every student who participated, making the event a memorable and meaningful experience. Their enthusiasm and spirit truly brought the event to life.

The participants were deeply engaged in solving the coding problems assigned to them.
