Circuit Craft: An Interactive Quiz on Circuits and Components

December 23, 2025

The Young Caliber Club, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, organized an engaging event titled “Circuit Craft” on 23rd December 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM. The event was aimed at enhancing the understanding of basic electrical and electronic concepts among students. Instead of relying only on traditional classroom learning, the coordinators designed the program to be interactive and enjoyable. The focus was on helping students grasp fundamental circuit ideas in a way that encouraged curiosity, teamwork, and active involvement. By blending learning with play, the event created a space where students could think critically while enjoying themselves.

The program was coordinated by faculty member Ms. Nune Divya, who guided the entire process with dedication. She was supported by student coordinators K. Bhavana, Chandravadana, Abhilash, Siddaarth and SP. Saniya Banu who worked together to ensure smooth execution. A total of 58 students participated in the event, showing remarkable enthusiasm. Their performance was commendable, as they actively engaged in the activities, responded quickly to challenges, and demonstrated teamwork throughout the session.

The highlight of the event was the quiz activity conducted using the interactive method called Thumbshelots. In this activity, participants selected slots based on their answers, which made the quiz dynamic and exciting. This approach not only tested their knowledge of circuits and components but also encouraged quick thinking and problem-solving. The importance of the activity lay in its ability to make learning enjoyable while reinforcing essential concepts. The unique format kept students attentive and motivated, ensuring that the session was both educational and entertaining.

The key takeaways for the participants were significant. They gained a deeper understanding of basic circuit concepts, improved their ability to think on their feet, and strengthened their problem-solving skills. The activity also boosted their confidence and sparked greater interest in electronics, making them more eager to explore the subject further.

At the end of the program, the organizers expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the participants for their active involvement and positive spirit. Their cooperation and enthusiasm made the event a memorable success.

The audience was actively involved in understanding the innovative ideas conveyed by the faculty coordinator at the beginning of the event.

The participants were deeply engaged, thinking quickly and contributing thoughtful answers throughout the quiz activity.
