Beyond Academics: Building Essential Soft Skills for Success

Event Orientation
The Sports and Cultural Club organized the event “Beyond Academics: Essential Soft Skills for the Real World” on 17 February 2026 at EDC Cell. The club conducted the training programme in collaboration with ICT Academy. The event aimed to enhance communication, leadership, teamwork, and professional etiquette among students. It focused on bridging academic knowledge with workplace expectations through practical training and interactive sessions.
Exciting Engaging Activities
Dr. K. Hari Krishna, Associate Professor of CSE, coordinated the event with great commitment. A total of 72 students actively participated in the training program. Mr. Bodhisattwa Kundu, the resource person, guided students with interesting games and engaging activities. He demonstrated leadership skills, communication techniques, and emotional intelligence practices. Students performed role plays, group discussions, and case study presentations during the session. The event highlighted the importance of adaptability, teamwork, and decision-making in professional life. It provided valuable insights into interview preparation and workplace challenges.
