Battle of Brains: Where Knowledge Met Team Spirit

The Young Caliber Club of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of MBU organized an exciting quiz event titled “Battle of Brains” on 10th November, from10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The event was held in the department and brought together enthusiastic students eager to test their knowledge and quick thinking in a friendly competition.
The main aim of the event was to encourage students to think fast, work as a team, and enjoy learning in a fun way. It was designed to boost their general knowledge, sharpen their minds, and help them make decisions quickly under pressure. The event also aimed to promote healthy competition and build confidence among the participants.
The event was guided by Ms. Nune Divya, the faculty coordinator, and smoothly managed by a team of student coordinators including K. Bhavana, M.S. Pravallika, Abhilash, Siddharth, and S.P. Saniya Bhanu. A total of 58 Students took part in the quiz. They were divided into two teams — the Boys’ Team and the Girls’ team. Both teams showed great energy and team spirit throughout the event, making it a lively and engaging session.
The quiz was conducted in multiple rounds, including General Knowledge, Sports, and Brain Teasers. Each round was carefully planned to test the participants’ memory, logic, and presence of mind. The most thrilling part was the Rapid-Fire Round, which added a burst of excitement and kept everyone on the edge of their seats. The audience also got involved by answering bonus questions and cheering for their favourite teams, which added to the fun and energy in the room.
Participants walked away with more than just the joy of competing. They gained valuable knowledge, improved their thinking and communication skills, and learned how to work better as a team. The event also helped them become more confident and comfortable in expressing their ideas in front of others.
At the end of the event, the organizers expressed heartfelt thanks to all the participants, audience members. They appreciated the enthusiasm and sportsmanship shown by everyone and shared their hope to organize more such engaging and educational events in the future.
