Battle of Brains: A Department-Level Challenge in Logic and Teamwork

The TechNova Club of the Department of Computer Science, School of Computingof MBU, organized an exciting event titled Battle of Brains on 9th October 2025 in Room 353.The event brought together enthusiastic students for a day of lively competition, thoughtful challenges, and collaborative learning. The atmosphere was charged with energy as participants geared up to test their skills in a series of brain-teasing rounds.

The event was designed to encourage quick thinking, teamwork, and logical reasoning. The event aimed to create a space where students could sharpen their problem-solving abilities while enjoying the thrill of competition. By blending fun with intellectual engagement, the program promoted creativity, confidence, and collaboration—key ingredients for personal and academic growth.

The event was coordinated by Mr. E Vimalraj, Assistant Professor and Faculty Coordinator of the TechNova Club. A total of 30 students participated, each bringing their unique strengths to the table. The participants showed great enthusiasm and performed with focus and determination. Their ability to work together, think critically, and respond under pressure made the event both competitive and enjoyable.

The activity was structured into multiple rounds, each crafted to challenge different aspects of the participants’ thinking. From logic puzzles to creative problem-solving tasks, the rounds were engaging and well-paced. Students were encouraged to collaborate, communicate, and think outside the box. The format allowed everyone to contribute meaningfully, making the experience inclusive and rewarding.

Participants walked away with more than just a sense of achievement. They gained valuable insights into teamwork, time management, and analytical thinking. The event helped boost their confidence and sparked curiosity about how such skills can be applied in real-world scenarios. It also aligned with several UN Sustainable Development Goals, including Quality Education, Innovation, and Reduced Inequalities, by promoting equal opportunity and collaborative learning.

At the end of the event, the organizers expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the participants for their spirited involvement. Their enthusiasm and positive feedback made Battle of Brains a memorable experience. The organizing team looks forward to hosting more such events that inspire students to think deeply, work together, and grow intellectually.
