Acknowledging Emotions: A Step Toward Better Mental Health

The Together We Heal Club organized an event “Journaling for Mental Clarity and Emotional Health” on 19 February 2026. The session aimed to promote self-awareness, emotional expression, and stress management through reflective writing. The theme “What Are You Feeling Right Now?” encouraged students to pause and express emotions honestly without judgment.
Acknowledging Emotions
Bandla Aswani, Assistant Professor, coordinated the session successfully. A total of 20 students especially II Year Pharm.D students actively participated in the activity. Students reflected on emotions related to academics, personal life, aspirations, and daily challenges. They expressed feelings of motivation, anxiety, gratitude, uncertainty, and hope through their writing. The activity provided a safe environment for students to explore their thoughts openly. It highlighted the importance of acknowledging emotions as a step toward better mental health. The session emphasized the role of journaling in building clarity and resilience.
