Journaling with honesty

The Together We Heal Club organized an event “Journaling for Mental Clarity and Emotional Health” on 19 February 2026. The session aimed to promote self-awareness, emotional expression, and stress management through reflective writing. The theme “What Are You Feeling Right Now?” encouraged students to pause and express emotions honestly without judgment.

Acknowledging Emotions

Bandla Aswani, Assistant Professor, coordinated the session successfully. A total of 20 students especially II Year Pharm.D students actively participated in the activity. Students reflected on emotions related to academics, personal life, aspirations, and daily challenges. They expressed feelings of motivation, anxiety, gratitude, uncertainty, and hope through their writing. The activity provided a safe environment for students to explore their thoughts openly. It highlighted the importance of acknowledging emotions as a step toward better mental health. The session emphasized the role of journaling in building clarity and resilience.

 Key Takeaways

Students appreciated the opportunity to pause from their academic routine and reflect on emotions. They valued the supportive environment created during the session. Feedback revealed that journaling helped reduce stress and improve self-reflection. They also highlighted improved emotional awareness and confidence in expressing feelings.  Moreover, they recognized the importance of acknowledging emotions for overall well-being. The organizers noted that the activity encouraged openness and strengthened emotional health. They also expressed gratitude to the faculty and students for their active involvement. The event strengthened self-awareness and promoted healthy emotional practices among participants. It also achieved its objective of enhancing emotional clarity and mental health.
