Dance-Off 2025: A Joyful Celebration of Talent and Teamwork

The ETA Club, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, organized a lively cultural event titled “Dance-Off” on 31 October 2025 at Dasari Auditorium. The auditorium came alive with music, movement, and excitement as students gathered to celebrate creativity and togetherness through dance. The main aim of the event was to encourage students to explore their artistic side beyond academics. It was planned to help them build confidence, express themselves freely, and enjoy the joy of performing on stage. The event also focused on promoting teamwork, mutual respect, and a sense of belonging among students.
The event was coordinated by Dr. T. Rajasekhar, Faculty Coordinator of ETA.A total of70 students from different year groups took part in the competition. They performed with great enthusiasm and energy, showcasing a wide range of dance styles including classical, western, and fusion. Both solo and group performances were presented, and each act reflected the students’ dedication and creativity.
The competition was judged based on choreography, synchronization, energy, and overall presentation. The event was conducted in a warm and inclusive manner, making every participant feel valued. It created a space where students could bond, cheer for each other, and celebrate their shared love for dance. The audience was equally engaged, adding to the lively atmosphere.
Participants shared that the event helped them improve their coordination and boosted their confidence. Many felt it was a refreshing break from routine and appreciated the opportunity to express themselves. Feedback collected through a short survey showed that 95%of participants were happy with the way the event was organized and judged, while 90% said it helped them make new friends and feel more connected.
The organizers expressed heartfelt thanks to all the participants, volunteers, and faculty members who made the event a success. They also shared plans to host similar cultural and recreational events every semester, possibly including interdepartmental competitions to widen participation and joy.
