Penn State University Delegation Visits Mohan Babu University

Penn State University delegates visited Mohan Babu University (MBU) in Tirupati on 10.11.2025 to strengthen collaborations and discuss new initiatives for student and Faculy exchange. This interaction is part of an expanding strategic partnership that includes India’s first-ever joint degree program with a QS Top 100 global university, Penn State.

The delegates from Penn State University included Ray Venkataraman, Professor and Chair of PSCM & Marketing, Black School of Business, Penn State Behrend, Moore, Amanda Lutz, Associate Director of Graduate Admissions at Penn State University – Harrisburg, Wendy Moynihan’s Global Engagement Coordinator at Penn State University, USA

The collaboration offers MBU students a unique educational pathway that combines studying at MBU for the initial years followed by completing advanced years at Penn State in the USA. Under this program the students will be able to study joint degree programs. This program is designed to make world-class global education accessible and affordable with scholarships and financial aid to support students.

New initiatives beyond academics, the partnership fosters cross-cultural exchanges, joint research projects, and faculty collaborations, promoting interdisciplinary learning and global exposure. The agreement also includes administrative support like a streamlined credit transfer system, visa help, and career guidance for students navigating this international academic journey.

Leaders from both universities expressed enthusiasm about the shared mission to prepare globally competitive graduates who can thrive in diverse professional environments. The Senior leaders from MBU who attended the event included Prof.Nagrajramrao, Vice Chancellor Dr.K.Saradhii, Registrar, Dr.PV.Ramana,Dean-Academics along with senior leaders participated in the discussions. Aspiring students from Mohan Babu University interacted with the delegates from Penn state university with enthusiasm.
